What I Do...

Please allow me to clarify for all those people who think an EMT is an "ambulance driver."

There is no such thing as an Ambulance driver. Is there such a thing as a "Police Car Driver?" No. There is a police officer who uses many different tools to perform his duties. Amoung these, a gun, handcuffs, flashlight and a POLICE CAR! I also use many tools in my jobs...bandaging, splinting, traction splints, IV's, monitor/defib, and AN AMBULANCE. See how that works?

For those of you not in the EMS world, please try to learn this difference and stop asking us "So, do you drive the ambulance or are you in the back?" We'll have no choice but to bitch slap you.

Thank you

Excuse me??? My tools are the IV's & monitor. Yours is the splinting stuff, c-spine stuff, and yes the ambulance. So shut up and drive me around "ambulance driver":)

PS: Stef just reminded me that EMT stands for "Empty My Trash", biatch!
